A leader in advanced real estate education, the Real Estate Institute of Canada(REIC) is an association of professionals that has been educating and certifying specialists in real estate since 1955.

Fellow of the Real Estate Institute (FRI)

The FRI designation is awarded by the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC) It is Canada's most established real estate designation. Holding the FRI signifies a real estate education that meets and exceeds either agent (sales) or broker licensing requirements plus experience that assures a practitioner with knowledge, not just information. FRI members, as with any REIC designated or accredited professional, are governed by the Institute's Code of Professional Standards.

Don Davies, President and CEO of Condominium First Management Services Ltd. earned his FRI designation in 1980. He is also past Executive Member of the Calgary Chapter of REIC.

For more than seven decades, the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) has been the source for education, resources, information and membership for real estate management professionals. The Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC) is the first international affiliate of IREM.

Bob Davies, Chairman of the Board of Condominium First Management Services Ltd. was founding President of the Southern Alberta Chapter of IREM.

Certified Property Manager (CPM)

The CPM designation is awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM-Canada) through REIC to professional property managers who have distinguished themselves in the areas of experience, education and ethical conduct.

In Canada IREM has been educating and identifying qualified managers since 1974, using the expertise, techniques and materials of IREM of the National Association of Realtors in the United States. This organization is recognized internationally as the leader of education of property managers and has been involved in this field since 1934.

Don Davies, President and CEO of Condominium First earned the designation of CPM in 1981.

The Community Associations Institute (CAI) provides education, tools and resources to people who govern and manage homeowners associations, condominiums and other planned communities.

The Canadian Home Builders' Association - Calgary Region (CHBA) is a network of professionals who effectively manage industry issues to the satisfaction of their members. It is headed by a Board of Directors consisting of 15 elected officials. The Board is responsible for organizing committees and working with administrative staff to address the interests and concerns of the local membership.

Condominium First Management Services Ltd. is a longtime member of The Canadian Home Builders' Association.

Condominium First Chairman of the Board, Bob Davies, served as Chairman of the Multi-Family Council and was a member of the Calgary Region Board of Directors for fifteen years.

Don Davies, President and CEO of Condominium First is a Past President of the CHBA and past Chairman of the Multi-Family Council. He is also a member of the Condominium Committee and a past director of the Alberta Home Builders Association.

The Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI) is a national, independent, non-profit organization dealing exclusively with condominium issues.

CCI has developed standards of competence in six key areas pertaining to condominium life. These spheres cover law, accounting, property management, insurance, real estate and building sciences. Through education and examination, CCI extends Professional Associate status upon those of its members who attain the required standard (ACCI)

Condominium First Management Services Ltd. has been actively involved with CCI and is a founding member of the Southern Alberta Chapter. Bob Davies, Chairman of the Board of is recognized as a Charter Member of CCI-Southern Alberta Chapter. Doug Davies Broker/Community Manager is a former Vice President and CCI course instructor. President and CEO Don Davies and General Manager Linda Grey-Martin have both attained their ACCI designations and all Community Managers have completed the CCI course work.
